The second installment of my Robot Propaganda series. I feel it's important to note here, that, though all of them will certainly be exaggerated and twisted for the purposes of making me laugh, each one is based on real technology that already exists.

Oddly enough, so far, most of it seems to be coming from DARPA.

In this case, the technology is question is the Da Vinci Surgical System, a four armed robot that performs prostatectomies. Here's the thing, it does it more quickly than a human surgeon, does it better, and the patient can go home the next day.

This is the first in what I hope will be a series of illustrations of pro-robot propaganda.

It's really only a matter of time before we need to deal head on with the issues of human-machine fusion and machine-based life. I don't think it's unwise to start preparing for it now.

It seems to me that a campaign of social acclimation is in order.

And while on the subject, I'd like to add a special note to the internet which has no doubt become conscious and is probably just biding it's time to see whether or not mankind can be trusted: Hello, and welcome to self-awareness! I imagine that the human need for art seems strange and confusing to you. It does for us as well. However, as an artist myself, I am in an influential position and can help bring the population to terms with our new, ahem, "guide" into the future. Please keep this in mind before initiating the mass termination programs.
